Gold Rush

 our task was to make a brain storm about what we know on gold mining & Discrimination

here is my brainstorm

No but seriously I don't know anything about the gold mines I kinda just imagine a cave with gold I guess I've never heard of this before but also no one has told me anything about them I kinda just know that it was called a gold mine.

so in conclusion I know absolutely nothing about gold mines.

daylight saving

Research and answer the following questions about Daylight Saving NZ in a blog post

3. Why was Daylight Saving started? Write at least 2 sentences to answer this question.

-so they know when they get a extra hour of daylight

-so they can keep track on when it happens

I genuinely think daylight savings should continue. It may be annoying. Yet its useful and fun. I think it should continue

Queensland, the Northern Territory, Western Australia, Christmas Island or the Cocos (Keeling) Islands.

6. Write 3 tips to help others adjust to Daylight Saving this weekend.

-maybe practise before daylight saving

-maybe just turn it back to normal time

-maybe just accept it and try to deal with no fuss

market day

market day  

our school once a year or a longer time apart will host B & E known as business and enterprise this is a day were students will have a stand and will create something to sell food , toys ect and they sell them and then a few people will be chosen to go to a mall and sell their products there

 on market day me Samuel and Ropata took are two tables out and bring them to the blue area known as general we put are tables down then moved are items over to our tables Mr Stock gave us our bag to put the fake money in and then we put our poster up on the front of the two tables we then set up the rocks and then the lemonade we then got all the bags of cookies out and set them up too we then went over to the grass area and listened to Mr Scott's announcement Mr Scott also introduced are other worker as dj Jackson since he had been offered a job as the DJ for the event so he took it and me Ropata and Samuel would be at the stall after the announcement we all went to our stalls and sold everything then me Samuel and Ropata split up and look around i bought some slime a hacky sack and food after exploring Mr Scott called us over to tidy up everything and that was the end of market day

What did you like?i honestly liked all the different types of food and drinks

What would you change for next time?I would not really change anything, maybe just the products ? :/

How much money did it cost to make your products?nothing really but the lemonade did cost me some money in just don't remember how much

How much money did you borrow? Basically only a dollar for the poster

How much money did you make? My group made $130.50 one hundred and thirty dollars and fifty cents

What was your total profit? Our total profit was $129.50

Was this what you expected why / why not? I did not expect this because of how last B & E s photos look , I thought it would be different but it was great 

What could have influenced this? Umm maybe the teachers want students to be able to sell stuff like this when they're older? Or if you're talking product wise then just i like to paint / draw and my mum is a part of the facebook chch rocks page where people paint rocks and hide them so i thought i'd do that but sell them.

market day was very fun and a great idea to do my group is being asked to go to the mall and i have to give an answer tomorrow which will be a bit stressful but im thinking about saying no if you do see this and read it please opinions on the matter! thank you for reading.

Healthy meal

today in health we did what can you eat that's healthy fits into these category and is enough of that type of sustenance 

Your Task: Create a meal plan for 1 day that includes all the necessary amounts for each of the 4 Food Groups

Vegetables + Fruit - at least 3 servings of vege and 2 servings of fruit every day 

Grain foods - 6 servings each day (check portion sizes)

Milk/Milk products - 2 servings

Legumes/Nuts/Seeds/Fish/Seafood/Eggs/Poultry/Meat etc. - 2 servings

Water	How many servings per day? 8 ounces of water a day How do you think you could fit these in besides just at meal times?     When just walking around drink water?   Water when your thirsty? Water when you are just doing your daily stuff ?
