Aim:
I want to find out how to tell if something is an acid.
Method:
Equipment:
- Beaker
- Red Cabbage
- Hot water
- Dropper
- Test tubes
- Testing samples
Instructions:
- Collect the equipment.
- Tear the cabbage into pieces.
- Put the cabbage bits into the beaker.
- Pour 100ml of hot water into the beaker.
- Add 2cm of acid into a test tube.
- Then add 2cm of hydroxide into the test tube.
- Add the cabbage juices into the test tubes.
- Then mix the acid throughout the test tubes to see the results.
