Rousseau art work separation


This lesson and last lesson we were set with the task to cut up one of Rousseau's paintings then stick them aligned with there counter parts on a piece of paper. then we had to label the different parts of the painting background, foreground, middle ground, flora, foliage, repetition and fauna. 
Background
what you see at the back of an art piece.

Middle ground
the art you see in the middle of a piece.

Foreground
the front art found in a piece.

Foliage
Leaves and or nature

Flora
Flowers

Fauna 
Animals

Personally i love Rousseau's art something about how he kept creating the art even after all the higher ups in the system put him down was inspiring. His art is really entrancing anyways.
